The company is bringing groundbreaking improvements to health tracking with the implementation of the Galaxy AI.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, before the speaker finished his talk and the event came to an eventual end, Samsung announced the <a href=\"https:\/\/knowtechie.com\/samsung-galaxy-ring-potential-launch-window\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/knowtechie.com\/samsung-galaxy-ring-potential-launch-window\/\" data-lasso-id=\"553645\">Galaxy Ring<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the presentation, Samsung isn\u2019t going out of its way to make the ring look different.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a traditional-looking smart ring with a shiny chrome-like exterior, and all the expected sensors will be available inside.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the design of the smart ring is pretty much all we got. It probably was a last-minute addition to the presentation as Samsung didn\u2019t provide any details about the device\u2019s capability, the <a href=\"https:\/\/knowtechie.com\/galaxy-ring-name-release-window-revealed\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/knowtechie.com\/galaxy-ring-name-release-window-revealed\/\" data-lasso-id=\"553646\">price, or when it will launch.<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Oura responds to Samsung\u2019s announcement\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides Samsung\u2019s Galaxy Ring announcement, the second exciting event of the day would be Oura\u2019s response to its new competitor.\u00a0Oura has been a pioneer in the smart ring space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wasting almost no time, Oura CEO Tom Hale provided the following statement to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/wearables\/oura-responds-galaxy-ring-announcement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"553647\"><em>Android Central<\/em><\/a> via email.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Since our founding over a decade ago, we\u2019ve invested relentlessly in [the] service of creating the best smart [ring] that gives [everybody] a voice. Our members span from Gen Z to Boomers, from pro athletes to those seeking to improve their sleep and health, from women tracking their cycles to those who want to better manage their stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With new features released regularly, Oura has the strongest IP portfolio\u2014in both hardware and software\u2014for the smart ring form factor, with 100 granted patents, 270 pending patent applications, and 130+ registered trademarks.
